| Résumé : | Recent discourse on European integration has postulated a simple unilinear shift from nationalism to postnationalism. This article proposes a dialectical model whereby nationalism is adapting to the new European order, shaping it, and reconstituting itself within it. It examines the unfolding of this dialectic in the Irish case, focusing on the interrelationship between European integration and the different strands of Irish nationalism |
