Résumé : | This article focuses on Bobby Sands' poetry, which has elicited little critical attention to date, apart from a few notable exceptions. I propose to explore the overlap of the political and aesthetic interest of his work through close readings of two poems in particular. Taking into consideration not just the poetry itself but also the very specific conditions in which it was written and smuggled out of prison, I will analyse the poems through the Rancierian prism of the distribution of the sensible and demonstrate how Sands expresses dissensus |
