| Résumé : | What appears now to be the penultimate production of the Field Day Theatre Company, Seamus Heaney's The Cure at Troy, was produced in Derry in the Autumn of 1990. A version of Sophocles' play Philoctetes, The Cure at Troy is a translation, rather than modernization; there is no geographical or historical relocation of the action, neither has Heaney sought to introduce characters or events other than those in the Greek original, preferring rather to retain its stark plot line in a one-act play |
