| Résumé : | Through an outline exploration of key issues in his training for actors, this paper suggests that the influence of Jacques Lecoq on Irish theatre is at an early stage of development, and that, through individuals and companies linked with Lecoq, its impact may be seen in changing hierarchies in theatre-making, in the expansion and diversification of the creative role of actors, and in the orientation of performance outwards, through the vocabulary of a shared material world |
