Online exhibitions
The online exhibitions, made to fit high school and university curriculum, allow you to teach historical and cultural themes through a number of online resources: pictures, archive recordings, dramatisations, radio podcasts...
Learn about essential historical and literary events - the Irish rebellion during the Year of the French in 1798, the Irish independence in 1922, and the publication of James Joyce's Ulysses that same year -
and about the rich history of the Irish language.
You can also discover the history of the famous author Brendan Behan, the history of Irish language, and 120 years of Franco-Irish rugby on the occasion of the Rugby World Cup!

Teachers' Pack
The Teachers’ Pack is a selection of items available to lend to schools, associations and school librarians. It focuses on Ireland and its culture and can be borrowed in the context of an educational project.
Its contents include numerous resources in French and in English on a variety of themes: history and civilisation (St Patrick…), literature (Oscar Wilde and contemporary writers), visual arts (Francis Bacon…), cinema (Bloody Sunday…), music... These can be adapted for all age groups.
New! The Teachers’ Pack for younger children includes a range of documents and activities for children from pre-primary to primary school: illustrated stories, books to learn about Ireland and learn English, songs and nursery rhymes in English and Irish, animated film...

Tours and educational activities

Exhibition on loan: L'Irlande des Poètes
Are you looking for a temporary exhibition to show in your cultural or educational programme?
The CCI lends this exhibition to support projects promoting Ireland and its culture throughout France. L'Irlande des Poètes was created in association with éditions MUSEO and the Irish Embassy in France.
The exhibition is composed of 20 pannels presenting landscape photographs and poems in the original language (English or Irish) and their French translation: William Butler Yeats, Patrick Kavanagh, Seamus
Heaney, Eavan Boland, Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill…
A beautiful tribute in words and images to a country and its people of poets.
