- How can I access the Old Library collection?
Over 200 documents are digitised and accessible online, including three illuminated manuscripts, treasures of the collection.
To request the consultation of non-digitised books, you can fill in this application form. Conditions of access to the Old Library are detailed in the Access to the collection page.
- Can I borrow books from the Old Library?
The Old Library is a research library, the documents are accessible on site by appointment.
- How can I browse through the Old Library catalogue?
You can search the online catalogue on the Old Library page through the quick or advanced search, or through manuscrits or origins.
Books containing noteworthy details such as frontispieces, decorations, maps, illustrations etc. can be identified via the Collection page.
- How can I apply for the Fellowship?
Each year, the Centre Culturel Irlandais offers Fellowship bursaries to encourage research on its Old Library and Historical Archives collections: all the information and conditions are available on the Fellowship page.
