The 2023 Prix de Traduction
The 2023 Prix de traduction du Centre Culturel Irlandais et de Literature Ireland is awarded to Cécile Arnaud for her translation of David Park's novel Voyage en territoire inconnu, published by Editions de la Table Ronde (translation of Travelling in a Strange Land).
Established in 2019, the Prix de traduction du Centre Culturel Irlandais et de Literature Ireland was created for the promotion of Irish literature in the French language.

Co-organised by the Centre Culturel Irlandais and Literature
Ireland, this prize aims to support the translation of works of fiction
by Irish authors who are as yet unknown in France. First translations in
French by Irish writers, published in 2021 and 2022, are in the run for
the 2023 edition. The prize is awarded to the translator.
